Stopped in for some hot chocolate. It was recommended from another shop we were in, not too far away. First, I love the support that other businesses have for each other. Second, the hot chocolate was delicious!! Definitely will be returning. They also have art on the wall you can purchase!
This place is excellent, please don’t listen to the bad (and often very mean for no reason) reviews! We had the chance to stop by for breakfast on Saturday, the staff was very friendly and polite. The vanilla latte was one of the best coffee I’ve ever had, hands down! When we were enjoying our meal, I noticed there were a lot of customers stopping by the counter with various requests (for extra silverware, napkins etc…), the gentleman behind the counter always smiled and helped as needed, without a hesitation. Such a great place with a cool atmosphere, thank you for being so kind! My only suggestion would be to add more avocado on the avocado toast :)) as I noticed that the veggie bagel my friend got had more avocado than the avocado toast itself :) Other than that, everything was great, we’ll be definitely back!
I got a basic small latte and it was made perfectly by the friendly staff that work there. Had the whole place to myself right when they open but there was at least one homeless person. That being said, I wasn't disrupted and was able to complete the work I needed as that is my use for copy shops early in the morning. I would come back again!
Popped in here on a day trip to Glenwood Springs. Wandered around downtown, looking for a bite to eat but nothing really zinged us. On our second turn around the block, we discovered the Bluebird Cafe! This hidden gem has a quaint, '70s retro era atmosphere, so cool!! My turkey sandwich was to die for and the avocado slices were fresh and delicious. My daughter got a bagel sandwich and proclaimed it excellent! I received a seasonal fruit cup, with my sandwich, and could have gotten a small dinner salad for a dollar fifty more.
The bathroom was spotlessly clean as was the entire restaurant! The owner was there and was very kind and accommodating. Prices were reasonable and the portions were generous.
We stopped into this cozy spot on our way to the Glenwood Springs Hot Springs Pool. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and excellent coffee. Welcoming environment and a very friendly staff. The salmon quiche was unique and delicious. The fruit cup was probably one of the best I’ve ever had, which is kind of crazy in April!
Very disappointing. Our dining experiences in GS were for the most part awesome but this place was poorly run overpriced and the food was anemic in terms of flavor and portion. Ten dollar avocado toast and 12 dollar lox bagel. They couldn’t remember to take two cinnamon rolls out of the case for my daughters and couldn’t remember to make her drink. And acted put out and annoyed that I dare ask them to give me the foods I paid for. I wish I had four hands so I could give this place four thumbs down. Avoid at all costs.
The cutest little cafe with so many great seating options. Their potato soup was one of the best soups I’ve ever had! The Cuban was also SO delicious. The cheese was melty and the bread was homemade, I would highly highly recommend it! The coffee was excellent and all around the atmosphere was so cozy and inviting.
Honestly i was super disappointed. We came in on Presidents’ Day around 9:30am and were hoping for better.
Ordered a drip coffee and they didn’t tell me they were out of everything but skim milk until after I ordered. Ordered a green chili omelette (which was like 18$??) and they gave me a luke warm veggie omelette (they also ran out of eggs while we were there). Some of the prepackaged butters for the toast they gave us were already open and the french toast my friend got was uncooked in the middle. The staff seemed overwhelmed and were snippy with a lot of the customers.
It just seems like a super poorly managed place. I would go to sacred grounds across the street for better coffee, prices, and service.
